Thousand Trails Lake Conroe

We’re at our first Thousand Trails RV Park at Lake Conroe, Texas. The sun is shining and the weather is slowly warming up as we check out the park.

There are all kinds of things to do at Lake Conroe, including basketball, tennis and miniature golf. But our absolute favorite thing to do is to walk. There’s a sandy beach by the waterfront, and it’s our dog Marley’s first time to experience the sand between his toes.

There’s nothing like being near water, and Lake Conroe is a sight to behold, with a calm reflective surface that settles us into our new life as full time campers.

So far, we are thrilled with our Thousand Trails membership, and we encourage any RVers to take advantage of this program. We have saved so much money on camping already! (More about that coming soon!)

If you'd like to become a Thousand Trails member, we will hook you up with our personal membership specialist, Brenda. You can always get your membership through their website, but our friend Brenda can answer all of your questions about Thousand Trails, and get you special deals on your camping pass. Right now, she is offering $100 off the regular annual camping pass!

Be sure to tell her that the RV Foodies sent you!
